What we collect

Information you give us.

When you request an estimate, call, text, or email us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, service address, property and door details, the description and any photos of the problem you are reporting, your preferred contact method, and your scheduling needs. If you start our estimate form and do not finish it, we keep what you entered so we can follow up.

We also collect information automatically when you visit this site: device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, referring page, the pages you view, and which campaign or ad brought you here. We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies for this, including technology that helps recognize returning visitors and associate site activity with an email address.

How we use it

Running the job, and staying in touch.

We use the information to respond to your request, schedule and perform service, prepare estimates, keep job and warranty records, take payment for work performed, send appointment and service reminders, send occasional offers, measure which advertising works, and improve the site.

Text messages

SMS consent, and what we never do with your number.

If you check the text-message box on our estimate form, or otherwise opt in, you agree that Monument Garage Door and our marketing partner Audience AI may text you at the number you gave us about your request, and may send service reminders and occasional special offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services — you can choose a phone call or email instead and get the same service.

Where your number goes. When you opt in, we share your mobile number and the record of your opt-in with Audience AI. Audience AI may send you its own messages, under its own name and its own privacy policy, as well as messages on our behalf. Reply STOP to any message to stop messages from whoever sent it. Depending on where you live, this sharing may count as a sale of personal information or as targeted advertising, and you can opt out of it at any time — seeyour choices below. We do not otherwise sell your mobile number.

Advertising and measurement

Partners who help us reach and recognize visitors.

We work with third-party marketing and analytics providers — including Audience AI — that use cookies, pixels, and identity-resolution technology on this site. These partners may recognize visitors, associate site activity with contact information such as an email address, and use that information for our marketing and for their own purposes under their own privacy policies. If you were identified this way, you may receive email from us, and you can unsubscribe from any of it using the link in the message.

We also use tracking phone numbers so we can tell which advertising produced a call. Calls to those numbers ring the same shop and are handled the same way.

Sharing

Who else sees your information.

We share information with providers who work on our behalf — our estimate-form and lead-routing platform, email and messaging providers, scheduling and bookkeeping tools, and the marketing partners described above — and with suppliers or installers when your job requires it. We also share information when the law requires it, to protect people or property, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business. Sharing with the marketing partners described above — including the mobile number and text-message opt-in of anyone who opts in — may count as a sale of personal information or as targeted advertising under state law. You can opt out of it at any time.

Your choices

Opting out, and asking us for your data.

Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop those emails. Your browser settings control cookies, and we honor recognized universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where they apply.

Colorado residents, and residents of other states with similar laws, may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold, provide a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for targeted advertising or profiling — and may appeal if we decline. Handling and retention

What we keep, and what not to send us.

We keep request, job, and warranty records as long as we need them for service, accounting, warranty, and legal purposes, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect them. No website or email is perfectly secure. Do not send card numbers, bank details, or government identification numbers by text or email.

This site is meant for adults arranging garage door work and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

Updates to this policy.
