About Monument Garage Door
A Grand Junction garage door shop, not a national dispatcher.
Since 2006 we have installed, serviced, and repaired residential and commercial garage doors across the Grand Valley and the wider Western Slope. When you call, you reach the people who actually work on the door.

Who we are
Local garage door specialists for the Grand Valley.
Monument Garage Door is based in Grand Junction and has served the Grand Valley since 2006. We are a garage door specialist — doors, openers, and the hardware that moves them — for homes, custom builds, shops, and commercial bays from Fruita and Redlands through Clifton and Palisade, and out along the I-70 and US-50 corridors toward Rifle, Whitewater, and Moab.
- Residential and commercial garage door sales, installation, service, and repair.
- C.H.I. Overhead Doors dealer and a LiftMaster opener and operator installer.
- Emergency repair for stuck doors, broken springs, and exposed commercial bays.
- Free estimates on planned replacement, new construction, and commercial work.

How we work
The judgment behind a door that lasts.
Twenty years of Western Slope doors comes down to four habits. They are the reason you get told when you do not need us.
- 01
Size the door to the job, not the catalog
A custom-home garage face, a high-cycle warehouse bay, and a stuck rental-house door are three different problems. We start with how the opening actually gets used, then choose the door, track, and operator that fit it.
- 02
Make a failing door safe first
On a repair, the first move is to stop unsafe operation and inspect springs, cables, balance, and the opener. Only then do we talk through repair versus replacement — never the other way around.
- 03
Separate must-haves from upgrades
Insulation, glass, wood-look finishes, and decorative hardware can all be worth it. A good estimate shows you which choices are structural and which are curb appeal, so the budget goes where it shows.
- 04
Plan new builds before the opening is locked
Headroom, side room, backroom, power, and finish coordination are far easier to solve before drywall and trim. We like to read the opening early so the door is not the thing holding up the punch list.

What we install
Doors and openers chosen around the building.
We install C.H.I. doors and LiftMaster openers and commercial operators because the range lets us match the product to the house or the operation. The brand on the panel matters far less than whether the door fits the opening, the operator carries the weight, and the safety devices are set correctly.
Evidence
You do not have to take our word for any of this.
Every one of these is something you can confirm without asking us — a public listing, a published standard, or a link. If we ever claim something here that you cannot check, treat it the way you would treat it from anyone else.

Twenty years of Grand Valley doors from one shop, under one name. Listed in the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce member directory, which you can search without going through us.
Grand Junction Chamber directory - 4.9Google rating
Read off the public profile, which is linked from every page of this site. We publish no review count, because a signed-out visitor cannot see one and a figure nobody can check is worth less than the link that lets them check everything.
Read the reviews - ListedC.H.I. dealer
C.H.I. Overhead Doors publishes its dealer directory, and Monument is in it. A dealer buys the whole lineup, which is what makes matching a specific house possible rather than selling whatever a distributor is clearing.
C.H.I. dealer listing - DASMA & CPSCStandards we work to
DASMA sets the sectional door and operator standards; the CPSC publishes the entrapment-protection rules that every residential opener sold since 1993 has to meet. Both are linked from our comparison page so you can read what good work is meant to look like and hold us to it.
CPSC opener safety - FreeEstimates on planned work
Which is the reason we can look at the door before pricing it rather than quoting a figure over the phone and revising it in your driveway. You see the whole number before you agree to anything.

2517 Weslo Ct, and the same name, address, and phone number on this site, on the estimate, and on the invoice. If an older directory shows something different, this is the one to trust.
